Global M, a leading recruitment and consultancy firm, partnered with Delfos, a well-known EnergyTech company specialising in AI predictive performance maintenance of renewable assets. This collaboration aimed to meet Delfos’ recruitment needs efficiently and effectively. Global M’s Innovative Talent Partner Model, embedding a skilled recruiter within the business was instrumental in shaping Delfos’s hiring strategy.

Why Global M

Delfos was looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who could fully understand Go-To-Market roles and oversee their whole recruitment process, matching them with their culture, values, and hiring needs. The Global M team was well suited to the Delfos project as it understood immediately the business needs and the environment in which Delfos operates. We were able to provide a great hiring experience for all prospects and collaborate on exciting upcoming projects.

Approach

The experienced Talent Acquisition Partner from the Global M team had access to all tools provided by the client, which enabled them to manage direct applications, and referrals, and submit candidates. Being branded as Delfos allowed us to identify suitable candidates across the market and approach them on behalf of the company, increasing their level of interest in the project.

In addition, we had an Account Manager responsible for the support of both client and Talent Partner, ensuring that collaboration goes smoothly.

Challenge

During the hiring process, the Talent Acquisition Partner worked closely with the executive team to ensure the culture and values were aligned. After realigning with the managers on the main requirements for each role, our main challenge was to fill all roles with the best talent. A data-driven approach allowed us to find an optimal balance between the number of candidates sourced and many accepted offers.

Results achieved

In 8 months, Global M successfully filled 11 roles with 8 being headhunted candidates and 3 managed. Leveraging our extensive network and industry insights, we identified and presented 100+ candidates. This amazing outcome highlights the precision and dedication that the Talent Partner has demonstrated during the collaboration.

The majority of candidates were located in Spain and Brazil, underlining the broad and local scope used for the sourcing process.  We achieved a 43 Female to 56 male candidate ratio, showing low gender bias.

Cecilia Rodriguez, Workplace and Employee Experience Manager at Delfos, implemented the ATS Personio. Together with Cecilia, Global M supported with the migration of data and assisted with the establishment of recruitment processes inside Personio.
