Overview

Global{M} was extremely excited to onboard Adevinta as a client in January 2022. Adevinta is a global leader in digital marketplaces, operating digital online classifieds in 11 countries. They provide technology-based services to connect buyers and sellers and facilitate transactions, from job offers to real estate, cars, consumer goods and more.

Global {M}’s mission was to partner with the Adevinta Talent Acquisition team, focusing on end-to-end recruitment for technical profiles for the Data Foundations and Tech teams.

Why Global {M}

Having experienced Talent Partners who worked with both Spanish and International markets Global {M} was well suited to this project. Several Global{M}rs have collaborated with different branches and teams at Adevinta to help them grow their teams.

We onboarded two Remote Talent Partners and two Sourcers to the project, who worked closely with Adevinta’s Talent Acquisition & HR team to hire across software engineering, product, data & machine learning.

Challenge

Global {M} ensures that delivery is tempered with Talent Acquisition Strategy, and thus the team created a talent map of local areas (Barcelona, Spain), and countries across Europe (such as France, Germany and the Netherlands).

This was supplemented by integrating with Adevinta technology tools, such as Smart Recruiters (the applicant tracking system, ATS). Allowing us to optimise communication, and candidate feedback with Hiring Managers, giving the team the ability to identify candidates to interview, and fast-track them to an offer. The team became trusted partners, working with Human Resources to present an approved offer, manage queries on the offer and escalate contractual issues to Human Resources.

Results

Sourcing and pre-screening conducted by our Talent Partners have led to 42 hires in 1 year. This partnership continues and we have been confirmed as Adevinta’s Global RPO partner for 2023 due to our strong delivery and performance from the Global M Talent Partner.
