We always aim to have long-term partnerships and relationships with our clients. After a successful project in 2020, Global{M} partnered up with Kubbo, a Barcelona-based startup aiming to build and manage a global network of urban fulfillment centres to empower e-commerce businesses with world-class last-mile logistic services while enabling Same-Day and Ultra-Fast deliveries to their consumers.

Global{M} onboarded an ‘onsite’ Talent Partner to the IT department, who worked closely with the CTO and HR department. The roles included 2 x Backend Engineers and 2 x Frontend positions.

Why Global {M}

Global{M} was well suited to the Kubbo project, understanding the needs of business, and the market in which they operate, providing quick and effective recruitment support,  and ensuring a great hiring experience. The average candidate experience score achieved was 9 out of 10 (Typeform survey).

Challenge

Kubbo needed support in a rapidly changing process. The initial challenge was to hire 2 Engineers in 2 months. This was later modified to 2.5 months due to the client’s needs. Our Talent Partner had a goal of hiring around 3 highly qualified Software Engineers (Frontend and Backend). The Tech stack required was Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Angular 2+.

Approach

The Talent Partner had access to all recruitment tools, enabling them to manage direct applications, active search, referrals and submit candidates. Being branded as Kubbo in emails as well as on LinkedIn, allowed them to identify suitable candidates and increase the level of interest in the project from prospective candidates.

Results

60 CVs sourced, 25 client interviews, 3 offers and 3 acceptances (12% interview-to-hire ratio). 

We are proud of these results, especially considering the highly competitive market of Java Backend Engineers with Springboot and Angular Frontend Engineers.
