Migracode Barcelona and CodeOp acts as a bridge between the demand for skilled people in the tech sector and people with a migration background who are eager to work in the tech industry.
36 students from Migracode Barcelona and CodeOp and 10 call moderators participated in the Covid-safe online event, connecting students to future opportunities in the Tech sector.
One of the main objectives of the event was to involve underrepresented groups in tech, by focusing (among others) on Gender, Migrant and LGBTQ+ communities. All the students involved in the event were coming from one (or more) of these groups and are eager to work as junior software developers
Global {M} are honoured to be a company representative of this event, speaking with the students and learning about their future aspirations.
