There are many things that AI tools can assist us with, but today we want to talk about candidate matching and reducing bias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Firstly, we need to discuss why problems with <span style=\"color: #e36e5c;\"><strong>candidate matching<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #e36e5c;\"><strong>bias<\/strong><\/span> might arise during the hiring process. <span style=\"color: #e36e5c;\"><strong>Candidate matching in recruitment<\/strong><\/span> is often limited by resume filters and keyword-based screening, which can miss out on skilled candidates just because their resumes don\u2019t match specific terms or formats. Recruiters may also rely too much on \u201cgut feelings\u201d during interviews, making it harder to objectively match candidates to job roles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #e36e5c;\">Bias in recruitment<\/span><\/strong> happens when recruiters, often unconsciously, favour candidates based on things like name, age, gender, or background.
