Actualmente tenemos una de las valoraciones m\u00e1s altas para una startup en Alemania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fui contratado como ingeniero principal, cambi\u00e9 a jefe de ingenier\u00eda un par de meses despu\u00e9s, ayud\u00e9 a hacer crecer el equipo de 20 a m\u00e1s de 100 ingenieros y contrat\u00e9 a 4 gerentes de ingenier\u00eda en 2019 para apoyar a nuestros ingenieros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luego cambi\u00e9 a un rol m\u00e1s global, convirti\u00e9ndome en Director de Ingenier\u00eda de N26, supervisando nuestro equipo de Ingenier\u00eda de Plataforma Global y TI interna mientras era el L\u00edder del Sitio de la Oficina de Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. \u00bfQu\u00e9 te trajo a esta \u00e1rea y cu\u00e1l es tu experiencia?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soy ingeniero de software y trabaj\u00e9 como ingeniero de software de una forma u otra durante casi toda mi carrera. Siempre me ha apasionado el panorama general y la arquitectura general de los sistemas para resolver los problemas comerciales y de los clientes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n me di cuenta a lo largo de los a\u00f1os que la ley de Conway estaba teniendo una gran influencia en la arquitectura de los sistemas. As\u00ed que empiezo a mirar hacia algunos puestos gerenciales para poder influir en la estructura de los equipos, adem\u00e1s de liderar a los ingenieros con toda la experiencia que acumul\u00e9, cometiendo muchos errores en el camino y ojal\u00e1 aprendiendo de ellos (y sigo aprendiendo por cierto\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al mudarme a Barcelona en 2017, comenc\u00e9 a tomar equipos m\u00e1s grandes, tanto locales como remotos, cambiando progresivamente mi estilo de liderazgo a medida que crec\u00edan mis responsabilidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. <strong>Entonces, \u00bfa qu\u00e9 hora comienza su d\u00eda y c\u00f3mo es su horario de trabajo t\u00edpico?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traigo a mi hijo a la escuela alrededor de las 9 a.m., y generalmente tengo un bloque libre de reuniones de 9.15 a.m. a 10 a.m. para preparar el d\u00eda (y, a menudo, las reuniones del d\u00eda). Encontr\u00e9 tantas situaciones diferentes, que es dif\u00edcil recordarlas todas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este es el tipo de ambiente que quiero ofrecer a todos los ingenieros que contrato, donde puedan aprender y crecer dentro de un ambiente seguro y desafiante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construir un banco desde cero es ciertamente un desaf\u00edo, y la interrupci\u00f3n de un negocio fuertemente regulado requiere mucha energ\u00eda y visi\u00f3n de futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ciertamente necesita sentirse c\u00f3modo con la incertidumbre y algo de compostura en situaciones dif\u00edciles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8. \u00bfQui\u00e9n es su modelo a seguir profesional?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pregunta dif\u00edcil... Me un\u00ed a la empresa principalmente por Pat Kua, a quien conoc\u00ed un par de a\u00f1os antes de unirme a N26 cuando todav\u00eda trabajaba para Thoughtworks. Dir\u00eda que me gusta su enfoque del liderazgo y su enfoque en construir una cultura para una empresa. Desde un punto de vista tecnol\u00f3gico, nuevamente es importante leer el radar tecnol\u00f3gico de Thoughtworks y los art\u00edculos de Martin Fowler. Siempre es una especie de logro elegir una tecnolog\u00eda o introducir una pr\u00e1ctica antes de que aparezca en el radar tecnol\u00f3gico...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>9. <strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 hace de Barcelona una buena ciudad para la tecnolog\u00eda, las startups y la diversidad?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La escena tecnol\u00f3gica es incre\u00edble, hay muchas nuevas empresas y centros tecnol\u00f3gicos de empresas muy innovadoras. Tambi\u00e9n creo mucho en la autonom\u00eda que se da a los equipos.
