Global{M} worked with the Tech Talent Acquisition team at Billie. Billie is one of the fastest-growing FinTech startups in Europe with a strong influence in B2B Finance. The company was founded in 2016 along with other fintech experts, Dr. Christian Grobe, Dr. Matthias Knecht, and Aiga Senftleben. Billie believes that technology should be used to free people from unnecessary struggles and open up new possibilities – both in their personal lives and in their business. With new, digital technologies for B2B transactions, payment processing, and dunning, Billie makes companies fit for the future. Whether large or small, traditional business or e-commerce – enabling fast liquidity, automated processes, and fair access to the best payment solutions.

Why Global {M}

Global{M} was really excited about the opportunity to work with Billie. We onboarded an ‘onsite’ Talent Partner to the project, who worked closely with Billie’s Talent Acquisition team to hire across Marketing, Product, Sales, and IT.

Challenge

The Talent Partner worked with the existing team to ensure the culture and values of this fast-growing company were matched. This involved collaborating with hiring managers to get positive results on the process. The most challenging role was UX/UI Product Designer, the search was challenging and exciting at the same time.

Approach

The Talent Partner had access to all tools provided by the Client, enabling them to manage direct applications, referrals and submit candidates. Being branded as Billie in emails as well as on LinkedIn, allowed us to identify suitable candidates across Berlin and approach them on behalf of the company, increasing their level of interest in the project.
